Taipei, Taiwan, December 1, 2011-Fab-Finder Inc. today announced the successful completion of the purchase of advanced solar panel manufacturing equipment from a Major Solar Panel Maker. Working in partnership with Great American Group, this marks the second successful major solar project completed in 2011 between the two companies. Comprising over 100MW of annual panel manufacturing capability in some modules, this highly advanced and automated line features many of the top solar panel equipment makers such as Team Technik, 3-S (Swiss Solar Systems), REIS, and Berger Lichttechnik. The automated processing significantly improves the consistency and quality of each panel manufactured and with Berger Lichttechnik automated solar simulator testing integrated with REIS robotics and Elabo diagnostic systems, 100% quality is assured.

This sale of very late model, vintage 2007 to 2009 high quality equipment was prompted by the introduction of the panel maker’s new product, which requires re-tooling of their USA facility. “Great American Group engaged with Fab-Finder to combine our solar business and technical capabilities and very quickly came to agreement for the purchase of this very advanced and highly desirable solar panel module equipment and most importantly, we provided a very aggressive move out plan to allow the site to re-tool their facility in the shortest possible time”, said Roy Gamityan, Senior Vice-President, for Great American Group. “Organization of the
equipment move-outs began immediately, with a majority of the equipment to be removed before the end of 2011. We are very pleased with the overall project management and cooperation provided between Fab-Finder and Great American Group”.
